Piero Bellugi

Creative biography of Piero Bellugi is connected with the largest musicians of XX century. He was born in Florence, in Italy. His teachers in the field of conductor's art were Igor Markevich and Leonard Bernstein. It is difficult to overvalue and A. Toscanini with whom young Bellugi collaborated for about one year as an assistant of the famous conductor. Bellugi conducted the best orchestras of San Francisco, Buenos-Aires, Capetown, Paris, Berlin, Tel-Aviv, Prague, Madrid, Lisbon, Budapest. In his repertoire both symphonic and opera music, from Monteverdi up to Shonberg. Under the conducting of P.Bellugi there have taken place world first performances of works of many modern Italian composers. Maestro Bellugi conducted Oakland and Portland symphonic orchestras in the USA, the orchestra "Тоscanini" in Parma, a symphonic orchestra of Radio and TV (RAI) in Turin. He conducts in the best concert halls and opera theatres of the world. His ensemble partners were Rudgerro Richi and Ex Gulli, Van Klibern and Victor Tretjakov.
