Alexander Block actively gives concerts as a soloist of the "Mosconcert". Since 1985 has been a member of the Union of composers of Russia. He graduated from Russian Academy of music after the Gnesins on two specialties - a piano (a class of professor V.M.Troppa) and compositions (a class of professor G.I.Litinskogo). Went on concert tour as a soloist and a chamber performer around Russia, the UIC, Germany, Italy, Finland, Norway, Great Britain. The author of a set of compositions for a string orchestra, a piano, vocal cycles, chamber music and music for performances. He is a winner of competition of composers in Moscow for works in the genre of the Old Russian romance.
