This year a musical holiday - an international festival of chamber-orchestral music "Siberia - Europe" is waiting for Krasnoyarsk people and visitors of the capital of Krasnoyarsk territory. It will be the sixth festival which as well as all previous ones, will be dedicated to the City Day and it will be held under the patronage of the Head of Krasnoyarsk Peter Ivanovich Pimashkov. The program of the festival traditionally includes Krasnoyarsk first performances of unknown classical music and world first performances of works of modern composers and among them there is a new gift of I.Battiston - «Three jokes», devoted to Michael Benyumov and his orchestra. Krasnoyarsk municipal chamber orchestra has been remaining a constant participant and an organizer of all the festivals and outstanding European soloists and conductors who took part in all the festivals are creative partners with whom Siberian musicians more than once have performed both in our country and abroad. At the same time every following festival opens new names for Krasnoyarsk people. This year outstanding German musicians will open the festival with the music by J. Hydne: Friedemann Winklhofer who will act at the festival in three qualities: as a conductor, an organist and a composer and Haynes Luabin – the first trumpet of the well-known Bavarian philharmonic orchestra. What about the brilliant musicians from Italy who have already been loved in Siberia – a flutist David Bellugi, an accordionist and composer Ivano Battiston and a conductor Andrea Pestalozza - both musicians of the chamber orchestra and the public have been looking forward to meetings with them for a long time. In fact, musical collaboration of Siberian and European musicians, magic union of musicians and listeners in a concert hall is the main purpose of the musical holiday which is initiated by the Central administrative board of culture of the administration of the city of Krasnoyarsk.
